Research time!
Today, year six began to research Ancient Mayan buildings and cities. We already know that the Ancient Mayans are famous for their temples. But how big were they? How many were there and how many are left? When was the oldest temple built? What were they used for? Where were ball courts built for the legendary games of Pok-a-took?
We found our answers as well as a plethora of fascinating facts and theories about this ancient architecture.
Next time, we will use our research to start building our own replicas of Ancient Maya buildings!
