ENGLISH - writing complex sentences
Today we have continued with our book Wolves in the Walls. After meeting the characters, we spent time focussing on complex sentences. We looked at different conjunctions we can use (I SAW A WABUB!) to help and reminded ourselves how to write a complex sentence. We had fun exploring subordinating conjunctions and clauses and how we can flip our sentences in order to vary them. We also reminded ourselves on relative clauses.
We then put these into practice by writing a diary entry from Lucy, the main character, and how she feels when no one believes her.
