Maths- Multiples and factors
Learning Objective: I can understand the phrase multiple and find common multiples of two or more numbers.
Year 6s started off with thinking about the difference between multiples and factors. A factor is one of two or more numbers that divides a given number without a remainder. A multiple of a number is a number that can be divided evenly by another number without a remainder.
We looked at how we can work out the answers efficiently and accuracy with the children working really hard throughout. We worked through real world contexts as shown in the picture below.
We are working on another couple of lessons of multiples and factors before we move on to fractions.
