What is the climate of South America?
South America has several climates depending on where you are. Some parts of South America are near the Equator such as Brazil, which has a tropical wet climate - this only happens near the equator. The Atacama Desert which is located in Chile, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina is the hottest and driest desert in the world, thus it has an arid climate. Rising high are the Andes, that run nearly the whole length of South America. The climate here changes depending on your location.
